Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (639)-LEI YUE MUN PARK HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Metres
WIN ALONG was withdrawn on 13.5.16 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (colic).Before being allowed to race again, WIN ALONG will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
OUR GENERATION lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and consequently lost ground.
DIAMOND FRIENDS began awkwardly.
Shortly after the start, BO DUKE, NO LAUGHING MATTER and HASTILY FEET were crowded for room outside HO LEE HORSE (Apprentice K K Chiong) which shifted out when being ridden along.
Apprentice Chiong was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
From wide barriers, BUDDY BUDDIES, ROYAL PARTNER and IMPERIAL CONCORDE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 1300 Metres, ROYAL PARTNER travelled keenly and got its head up when racing close to the heels of FAIR WIND.
REGENCY BABY lost its right front plate in the middle stages.
Passing the 600 Metres, OUR GENERATION, which was inclined to lay out, raced tight inside HAPPY MOMENTS which got its head on the side and lay in after being brushed on the hindquarters by OUR GENERATION.
Throughout the race, NO LAUGHING MATTER travelled wide and without cover.
The performances of HASTILY FEET and NO LAUGHING MATTER, which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, HASTILY FEET and NO LAUGHING MATTER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of HASTILY FEET immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
DIAMOND FRIENDS and ROYAL PARTNER were sent for sampling.

Firming favourite Diamond Friends settled three back along the fence, eased into the open coming to the final bend, swept to the front five deep at the 130m and held off the late surge of Royal Partner for a second win from 10 starts on this surface. Royal Partner came on strongly after switching into the open with two wider out at the 350m after a one-off run behind midfield to make it close on the wire. Dashing Super was pestered by Ho Lee Horse after clearing Regency Baby for the lead 1,000m out, established a twolength margin at the 300m and was out on his feet 100m out. Ho Lee Horse was only plodding over the final 150m after pushing forward three deep without cover to sit outside the leaders 1,200m out. Fair Wind only held his ground after a prominent run. Buddy Buddies dropped back to last 600m out, eased into the open five deep at the 300m and ran on steadily. Happy Moments made some ground four deep without threatening after making his run fourth from the rear. Imperial Concorde ran on without menacing down the far outside after travelling at the rear for the most part from a wide gate. Our Generation travelled near the back after missing the kick and was never a factor. Hastily Feet never fired after a deep run with cover in his first try on the surface.
