Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (257)-SEA EAGLE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 2200Metres
SUPER SILKS shifted out at the start and bumped KERKENI.From the outside barriers, LIGHTNING AND GOLD and TELEPHATIA were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the 1800 Metres, TELEPHATIA got its head up on a number of occasions when proving difficult to settle.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, ROUGE ET BLANC shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of PACKING DRAGON.
Due to the tempo in the middle stages, WIN CHANCE was shifted out to improve around the field into the lead after the 1100 Metres.
After the 800 Metres, SUPER SILKS and BACKBENCH BLUES raced tight.
At the point of the Home Turn, SUPER SILKS became unbalanced when awkwardly placed outside the heels of OSCAR MIRACLE and racing close to the heels of ROUGE ET BLANC.
After the 100 Metres, PACKING DRAGON and TOWERING STORM bumped due to both horses shifting ground.
SUPER SILKS, TOWERING STORM and PACKING DRAGON were sent for sampling.

Early favourite Towering Storm was patiently-ridden behind midfield near the fence, was asked to get going 450m out, swung the final bend with two wider out and finished well to grab victory 100m out from Packing Dragon for an overdue win following placings in his prior two starts. Packing Dragon tracked the speed in third, inched forward to park one off in second at the 700m, overtook the front from Win Chance 300m out and grudgingly gave way in his Valley debut with a rise in trip. Punted late, Rouge Et Blanc was prominent in the run with cover, rounded the final bend near six deep and finished off reasonably well to finish a clear-cut third. Late-fancied favourite Super Silks came one off the fence travelling fore of midfield at the 800m, straightened four deep and kept on dourly to finish a non-threatening fourth. Backbench Blues made some ground without menacing after travelling one off the fence in midfield. Lightning And Gold made some progress with one wider out after travelling second from the back. Telephatia only got by beaten rivals furthest out from the rear of the field.
