Favourite Lucky Profit bided his time worse than midfield near the inside, pulled out sharply for a clear run five deep approaching the 200m and finished willingly to run down Forever Fun in the final few metres for the win. Forever Fun settled one off in second behind Master Viking, advanced to the front 200m out and found one too good in the end. Novel Start was handy along the fence, stayed near the inside upon straightening and kept grinding away to grab a placing 50m out. Great Speed travelled without cover near the speed from a tricky gate, swung the final bend five deep and managed to scrape by the tiring Master Viking 30m out for a Quartet spot. Fancied late, Master Viking enjoy an easy time on the lead after finding the front 1,050m out from a wide gate, straightened two lengths on top and was on his tippy toes 100m out. Ray Of Gold ran on with two wider after travelling fourth from the rear. Intellectual Glide only got by beaten rivals after settling second from the back.

Racing Incident Report

Race Two: (255)-SPOONBILL HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Metres

GREAT SPEED and MASTER VIKING bumped at the start.

THE PALADIN and ROCKET bumped at the start.

JIMSON THE FAMOUS began awkwardly.

From the outside barrier, INTELLECTUAL GLIDE was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Passing the 1100 Metres, ROCKET was awkwardly placed inside the heels of TRIBAL GLORY which was racing tight inside GREAT SPEED.

After the 900 Metres, GREAT SPEED got its head on the side and shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.

Near the 700 Metres, ROCKET was left racing wide and without cover.

Rounding the Home Turn, INTELLECTUAL GLIDE became unbalanced after making contact with the running rail when improving together with THE PALADIN inside JIMSON THE FAMOUS where there was tight running.

LUCKY PROFIT and FOREVER FUN were sent for sampling.
