Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (220)-THE HONG KONG GOLF CLUB CENTENARY CUP (HANDICAP) (Sec2) - Class 4 - 1200Metres
MIGHTY EQUUS began very awkwardly and stumbled after making heavy contact with the outside of its barrier stall.EXCELLENT FORTUNE began awkwardly and lost ground.
From the outside barrier, FRANCE VALOUR was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Making the first turn near the 1050 Metres, ROCKET LET WIN was hampered when crowded for room inside CRAIG'S FORTUNE which was racing tight inside PLANET CHOICE (G Mosse) which shifted in.
G Mosse was severely reprimanded and advised to ensure that he leaves comfortable racing room for runners to his inside in similar circumstances.
Near the 600 Metres, ALL TIMES LUCKY raced tight inside STORM KID which got its head on the side and lay in.
Passing the 200 Metres, V Cheminaud (ROCKET LET WIN) dropped his whip.
Near the 150 Metres, BACK IN BLACK shifted in towards STAR OF WAI BO, resulting in its rider having to stop riding and straighten his mount.
ROCKET LET WIN and CRAIG'S FORTUNE were sent for sampling.

Rocket Let Win settled midfield along the rails, straightened three deep and responded under urging to get up 30m out and give his rider Vincent Cheminaud a first win in Hong Kong. Odds-on favourite Craig's Fortune was prominent along the fence, stayed to the inside upon straightening, hit the front 100m out and found one better in the end. He was anchored by the big weight. Back In Black settled one off the paint in fifth, worked to the lead with two wider out at the 200m and came up flat passing the 100m. Star Of Wai Bo kept grinding away four deep to hold onto a Quartet spot after working forward from a wide gate to sit one off in second. Sparkling Talent kept up an even gallop over the last 150m following a one-off run in third. Planet Choice had to work a bit carrying top weight with Star Of Wai Bo outside him and yielded ground over the last 100m. All Times Lucky made a mild bid without menacing widest out after saving ground behind midfield. France Valour made some ground after travelling second from the rear. He requires a longer trip.
