Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (146)-LAM TIN HANDICAP (Sec1) - Class 3 - 1650Metres
AMAZINGLY began awkwardly and then shortly after the start was crowded for room between JAEGER BOMB which shifted out and SUPREME FRESH which shifted in after bumping RUBY COAST.From wide barriers, GOLDLAND DANCER, LIUZHOU WARRIOR and GREAT CHARM were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
GOLDLAND DANCER lost its left front plate approaching the winning post on the first occasion.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, SUPEROI was left racing wide and without cover and after the 1100 Metres was allowed to stride forward to race outside the lead.
After the 1000 Metres, GREAT CHARM was left racing wide and without cover until approaching the 800 Metres.
GREAT CHARM was again left racing wide and without cover after the 700 Metres.
After the 900 Metres, SUPREME FRESH was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FLYING CHAPARRAL.
At the entrance to the Straight, JAEGER BOMB was directed out away from the heels of SUPEROI.
When questioned, J Moreira stated that after travelling satisfactorily in the early and middle stages of the race, HAPPY SURVEYS came off the bridle prior to the 500 Metres.
He said he tracked RUBY COAST into the Straight, however, HAPPY SURVEYS did not quicken as expected and then did not respond to his riding in the Straight and was disappointing.
A veterinary inspection of HAPPY SURVEYS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

HAPPY SURVEYS, SUPREME FRESH and JAEGER BOMB were sent for sampling.

Supreme Fresh settled one off the fence in midfield, circled the field to lead 680m out, cornered two lengths on top and kept up a good gallop to hold Jaeger Bomb for a first win at his 24th start. Jaegar Bomb closed off nicely five deep following a rail's run in midfield. Superoi went forward from a wide gate to eventually land a spot one off in second behind Star Of Bond, straightened three deep and kept on gamely for a placing. Ruby Coast was getting going late with two wider out after travelling third from the rear to fill a Quartet spot in an improved effort with a step up to a mile. Amazingly made some ground without menacing after travelling fourth from the rear. Trendy Win had no excuse following a box-seat run. He needs rating relief. Happy Surveys had only two beaten coming to the final bend and made some progress without threatening with one wider out. Star Of Bond was giving ground 250m out after being headed for the lead passing the 700m.
