Packing Pins travelled three back and one off the fence, rounded the final bend five deep and quickened nicely to win going away 150m out despite laying in under pressure for a fifth straight win over this trip. He's a Group winner in the making. Outsider Gurus Dream saved ground behind midfield along the rails, was shot of room five deep early straight and finished nicely when clear to get up 30m out to add some value to the Quinella. Firming favourite Amazing Kids tracked a swift pace in the box-seat, advanced to the front three deep at the 250m and grudgingly gave way late. Romantic Touch was posted without cover outside Packing Pins in midfield, rounded the final bend four from the right and stayed on well to just edge Racing Hero for a Quartet spot. Specked late, Racing Hero made a good bid three deep after travelling fifth from the back to nearly add some spice to the Quartet despite a rise in class. Kabayan was doing his best work late with two wider out after settling fourth from the back from a wide gate. Lang Tai Sing kept on evenly following a one-out, one-back run.

Race Eight: (100)-THE LUKFOOK JEWELLERY CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 2 - 1400Metres

JAZZY FEELING was crowded for room on jumping between PRECISION KING and AMAZING KIDS, both of which shifted ground.

ROMANTIC TOUCH shifted out at the start and bumped DR GOOD HABIT.

From a wide barrier, LOOKS LIKE THE CAT was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

After the 1100 Metres, ROMANTIC TOUCH was left racing wide and without cover.

After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that GURUS DREAM was found to be displaying thumps.

A veterinary inspection of PRECISION KING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

AMAZING KIDS, PACKING PINS and GURUS DREAM were sent for sampling.
