Race Two: (094)-LUKFOOK JEWELLERY LOVE IS BEAUTY COLLECTION HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Metres
COPY STAR began only fairly.MIGHTY GAINS shifted out at the start and inconvenienced FORTUNE TERRITORY.
CONFUCIUS SPIRIT began awkwardly.
From wide barriers, DRAGON ENERGY, GRASSLAND DRAGON and DANEWIN TIGER were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 900 Metres, DANEWIN TIGER proved difficult to settle after momentarily racing tight inside PARENTAL SPIRIT.
After the 800 Metres, PARENTAL SPIRIT was left racing wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of MASTER VIKING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MIGHTY GAINS and HELEN'S CHOICE were sent for sampling.

Mighty Gains shared the lead outside Master Viking until easing back a length at the 800m, cornered three deep and reclaimed victory 200m out with the important 10-pound claim of Jack Wong Ho-nam. Favourite Helen's Choice travelled fifth along the fence, rounded the final bend four deep and finished well to wear down Hurry Hurry Up for second. Hurry Hurry Up tracked the leading pair one off the fence, briefly hit the front 250m out and peaked on his run 50m out. Danewin Tiger finished well with one wider out after travelling fourth from the rear to just out-finish Grassland Dragon for a Quartet spot. Grassland Dragon came on nicely three deep after settling second from the rear from a wide gate. Easy Ahead made some ground without menacing with three wider out following a one-off run in midfield. Confucius Spirit loomed a fleeting chance at the 250m following a prominent run only to peak on his move 150m out. Dragon Energy got going widest out without threatening after switching off from a wide gate. Master Viking was gone 250m out in another disappointing performance.
