Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (639)-LYNDHURST HANDICAP (Sec2) - Class 4 - 1200Metres
ULTIMATE WINNERS was slow to begin.THIS IS GLADIATOR and COUP D'ETAT bumped heavily at the start.
From wide barriers, JOLLY SPRING and GLORY SUNSHINE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the 1100 Metres, THIS IS GLADIATOR was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOLDEN CHOPSTICKS.
Near the 1000 Metres, THIS IS GLADIATOR and TEN FLAMES raced tight.
Near the 850 Metres, ULTIMATE WINNERS shifted in and brushed the running rail of its own accord.
After the 700 Metres, NEWSWIRE FREE got its head on the side and lay out.
Near the 550 Metres, GLORY SUNSHINE was taken wider by TEN FLAMES which got its head on the side and shifted out away from GOLDEN CHOPSTICKS which was shifted out to improve.
Throughout the race, THORS BOLT travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of SPITFIRE and COUP D'ETAT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GOLDEN CHOPSTICKS, THORS BOLT, SENSATION and NEWSWIRE FREE were sent for sampling.

Sensation enjoyed the box-seat run, advanced to the front three deep at the 250m and kept on gamely for the win with a move to the visors. Newswire Free landed a nice spot one-out, oneback from a tricky gate, drew nearly level four deep at the 250m and found one better on the day. Golden Chopsticks eased back from a good gate to travel behind midfield and one off the rails, pushed into the open with two wider out upon straightening and finished willingly to just miss second in another good effort despite a return to Sha Tin. Post-time favourite Thors Bolt was posted deep without cover ahead of midfield, straightened five deep and kept plugging away to just hold Jolly Spring for a Quartet spot. Jolly Spring was ridden cold from a wide gate, shifted into the open with one wider at the 300m and was running on nicely. Early favourite Ten Flames made ground without menacing widest out. Spitfire was pestered on the lead by Secret Code, cornered narrowly on top and was yielding ground 150m out.
