Multivictory enjoyed a lovely run one off the fence in third, advanced to the front 450m out and repelled a challenge from favourite Eroico over the final 200m to chalk up a second win over this trip from his past four starts. Eroico was handy along the fence, cornered four deep and couldn't really close the gap on the winner over the final 200m. Punted late, Full Talent settled off off the rails in midfield, swung the final bend with three wider out and ran on steadily to grab a placing 50m out. Let Me Go swung the final bend widest out after travelling one off the fence behind midfield and made a steady bid to grab Precision King in the final strides for a Quartet spot. Precision King was headed entering the straight after making the run and grudgingly gave way over the final 100m. California Bounty parked outside Precision King in the run and kept on evenly over the final 150m. Deep Thinker ran on without menacing after travelling second from the rear.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (504)-YAN CHAU TONG HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1400Metres

From wide barriers, APACHE SPIRIT and DEEP THINKER were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Near the 800 Metres, LET ME GO commenced to travel keenly and shifted out away from the heels of FULL TALENT, resulting in LET ME GO racing wide and without cover.

Then after the 800 Metres, SPEEDYGONZALEZ commenced to prove difficult to settle and shifted out away from the heels of LET ME GO, resulting in that horse also being left racing wide and without cover near the 700 Metres.

Approaching the 750 Metres, MY NAME IS BOND got its head up when awkwardly placed behind ANDOYAS.

APACHE SPIRIT, which was following, was inconvenienced in consequence.

In the Straight, MY NAME IS BOND lay in under pressure.

MULTIVICTORY and EROICO were sent for sampling.

Trainer C Fownes was fined the sum of $5,000 for breaching Stewards' Instruction 32 of the Rules of Racing in that his stable strength currently exceeds the allowable number following a horse being released from quarantine into his stable on Friday, 27 March 2015.

Mr Fownes was directed to ensure that his stable strength complies with the Rules by close of business on Monday, 30 March 2015.
