Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (493)-HUNG HOM HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Metres
LUCKY CELEBRITY began only fairly and then was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.Shortly after the start, GORGEOUS LEGEND raced in restricted room between HEARTS KEEPER and SMART MAN which shifted out.
From wide barriers, both MARVEL TRIBE and KIRAM were taken across behind runners in the early stages.
TRUMP made the first turn awkwardly.
Also making the first turn, LUCKY CELEBRITY became unbalanced of its own accord and then shifted out towards the heels of SMART MAN, resulting in LUCKY CELEBRITY losing ground.
TRUMP was badly held up for clear running until after the 200 Metres.
Near the 100 Metres, LUCKY CELEBRITY shifted in abruptly after being checked away from the heels of HEARTS KEEPER which was giving ground.
When LUCKY CELEBRITY shifted in, KIRAM was checked and shifted out to avoid the heels of LUCKY CELEBRITY.
Throughout the race, HEARTS KEEPER travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, Z Purton (STARTLING POWER) reported that after his mount came under pressure at the entrance to the Straight, it did not stretch out and did not feel comfortable in its action.
A veterinary inspection of STARTLING POWER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Before being allowed to race again, STARTLING POWER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of AMBITIOUS KING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of HEARTS KEEPER immediately following the race revealed the horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.
DEHERE'S THE LOVE and SMART MAN were sent for sampling.

Favourite Dehere's The Love settled effectively one-out, one-back, swept to the front four deep at the 300m and drew clear to win comfortably carrying top weight in track-record time to continue his fabulous form on the surface. Smart Man made his run in midfield, stayed near the inside upon straightening and wore down Our Folks 100m out for second. Our Folks was posted deep with cover fore of midfield, worked to second widest out at the 250m and plugged on well to hold a placing. Marvel Tribe was still last upon straightening after going back from a wide gate and finished full of run with two wider out to secure a Quartet spot. Trump was prominent along the rails, then was badly held up behind the tiring leaders Ambitious King and Startling Power until pulling out at the 200m and ran on steadily thereafter. He should have gone closer. Gorgeous Legend made some ground without menacing after travelling fourth from the rear. Well-punted late, Hearts Keeper was posted deep without cover in third and came up flat over the final 200m. Ambitious King led by only a half-length rounding the final bend after being pressured by Startling Power and was yielding ground 200m out. Startling Power was running on empty at the 200m.
