Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (476)-TAI HANG HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Metres
TARZAN I AM, which was fractious after being placed in the barriers, began awkwardly.GREAT RUN and HONG KONG DANCER bumped on jumping.
Then a short distance after the start, GREAT RUN was steadied when crowded for room between HONG KONG DANCER which got its head on the side and lay in after making contact with GREAT RUN and ORIENTAL PROSPER which shifted out initially before being taken out further by GENTILIS.
In this incident, ORIENTAL PROSPER became unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarters by GREAT RUN.
After this, ORIENTAL PROSPER was aggressively ridden, however, failed to muster speed and consequently raced back in the field.
From a wide barrier, BRIGHT STAR was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 1100 Metres, HONG KONG DANCER was steadied away from the heels of CALLING WITH LOVE which shifted in when awkwardly placed inside the heels of LONGWAH AMBER.
Approaching the 800 Metres, GENTILIS got its head on the side and shifted out towards the heels of CLEVER BEAVER, resulting in GENTILIS becoming unbalanced.
GENTILIS continued to lay away from the running rail for some distance after this.
Passing the 200 Metres, ORIENTAL PROSPER was shifted out away from the heels of DASHING CERAMIBO after being disappointed for running between that horse and CALLING WITH LOVE.
After the 100 Metres, BRIGHT STAR had difficulty obtaining clear running and then near the 50 Metres was shifted in away from the heels of TARZAN I AM to continue improving.
Passing the 50 Metres, HONG KONG DANCER was shifted out away from the heels of LONGWAH AMBER.
For the majority of the race, ARGENTUM travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of BRIGHT STAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CLEVER BEAVER and ALL THE BEST were sent for sampling.

Addition to Racing Incidents Report of Sha Tin Racemeeting on 15 March 2015 - Race 9 (467) D Whyte (GIANT TREASURE) dropped his whip after the 200 Metres due to his whip making contact with GOT FLY.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Sha Tin Racemeeting on 15 March 2015 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of FORTUNE TERRITORY, BEST JADE TRIUMPH, THUNDER DASH, UNIQUE JOYFUL, ALL MY GAIN, JOYFUL MOMENTS, GOLD DRAGON, ROUGE ET BLANC, GIGGLES FOREVER, TOP ACT, ENSURING, RIGHTEOUS, LUCKY DAY, ABLE FRIEND, BEAUTY FLAME, SUPER TALENT, DASHING FELLOW, LUGER, GOT FLY, LET ME GO and EROICO revealed no apparent abnormality.

Racing Laboratory tests of LA COTE DE BLEU, SLEDGE HAMMER, LUCKY BOLE, LEAN JOURNEY, FAY DEEP, DIAMOND MYSTERIOUS, HAPPY MOMENTS, EXPEDITE, CONFUCIUS ELITE, ATHENA BABY, SUNNY PEARL, SERGEANT TITANIUM, FASTER MORE, BRILLIANT SHINE, SANTA FE SUN, TRAVEL BROTHER, DEHERE'S THE LOVE, HIDDEN VALUE, MY LITTLE FRIEND, DISCIPLES TWELVE, DANE PATROL, ARPINATI, PIKACHU, PACKING PINS, LAUGH OUT LOUD and UP AND COMING (8.3.15) proved negative.

Cleaver Beaver eventually cleared Gentilis approaching the 800m from a wide gate for the lead, swung the final bend two lengths clear and just held off the on-rushing All The Best to land a betting plunge. All The Best rattled home with one wider out after making his run behind midfield and one off the fence as the late-fancied favourite. He is ready to win. Dashing Ceramibo settled one off the fence in midfield, straightened three deep and closed pretty well to grab a placing 50m out. Early favourite Gentilis shared the lead along the fence with Clever Beaver until handing up at the 800m and was swamped 50m out for a placing. Calling With Love made a steady bid without menacing after travelling underneath Dashing Ceramibo in midfield. Oriental Prosper made some progress four deep after travelling fourth from the back. Specked late, Tarzan I Am was again disappointing in the run to the wire after tracking the speed three lengths back in third. Hong Kong Dancer failed to close off two from the right upon straightening after making his run third from the rear. Bright Star trailed the field by about 12 lengths at one point and never made an impression with a rise in grade.
