Recap by phillip woo
In a race favouring the front-runners, Mister Marc got the upper hand 250m out after stalking the leader one off in second and kept on nicely for a first win at his 24 th outing. Four Four Five set a steady pace on the lead and kept on reasonably well to add immense value to the Quinella. Yeung Sing plugged away following a one-out run in fourth to cap a huge tierce. Champion Ranger had every chance following a box-seat run and only held his ground to finish a distant fourth. Second favourite, Smart Guy made some ground three deep in the drive without ever looking a chance after travelling third from the rear. Flying In kept on all right after a deep run without cover in midfield. Favourite King Haradasun was doing his best work late without menacing with one wider out after travelling second from the rear. Everspring didn't make much of an impression with two wider out upon straightening after making his run along the rails behind midfield. Specked late, Humongus came up flat in the run to the wire following a rail's run in midfield. Enjoy The Game struggled after a four deep run near the back from a wide gate.
