Recap by phillip woo
Flying In settled third from the rear and one off the rails without cover, strolled forward at the 700m to be in a handy spot coming to the final bend, cornered four deep and quickened well to get up 60m out for the win in his first crack over the 2,200m. Enjoy The Game settled third along the rails, peeled four deep at the 200m and finished well to grab second 20m out. Mister Marc sat on the back of the leader Little Rainforest, advanced to the front 500m out, was three on top at the 300m and peaked on his run 100m out. Favourite Smart Guy was shuffled back to travel midfield along the rails, angled into the clear with one wider out at the 250m and finished up reasonably well. Liberal Of Mind travelled a distant fourth ahead of Smart Guy, swung the final bend with two wider out, loomed a chance at the 200m and came up flat over the final 100m. Sweet Bean settled second from the rear and only got by beaten rivals.
