Recap by phillip woo
Golden Harvest settled midfield and one off the rails, swung the final bend with three wider out and wore them down 100m out for the win to land a betting move. He wasn't suited by a good pace. Smart Volatility was posted deep without cover in fourth, briefly hit the front four deep at the 150m and kept on nicely. Peniaphobia took up the running, cornered a length on top and went down fighting in his first run over the 1,200m. It was a good run in defeat after setting a brisk pace. Specked late, Lord Sinclair settled third from the rear along the rails, swung the final bend five deep and ran on reasonably well without failing to menace the placegetters. He'll be all the rage with a return to his preferred dirt surface. Charles The Great stayed on evenly off a big weight following a rail's run in midfield. Tour De Force made little impression with two wider out upon straightening from near the back. Odds-on favourite Divine Ten rolled forward from an awkward gate to sit outside the leader without cover and was struggling approaching the 200m.
