Racing Incident Report
Race Ten: (010)-COTTON TREE HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1400Metres
SMART MAN was slow to begin.Shortly after the start, LITTLE MEN lost ground when crowded for room between SICHUAN VIGOUR and MULTIVICTORY which shifted out slightly.
From the outside barrier, AUTUMN GOLD was taken across behind runners in the early stages.
When being steadied to obtain cover after the 1300 Metres, SICHUAN VIGOUR raced keenly.
Passing the 200 Metres, LITTLE MEN and HELENE SUPER STAR raced tight.
Throughout the race, TRUMP travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of SICHUAN VIGOUR immediately following the race revealed the horse to have superficial abrasions to the right hock.
TRUMP and MULTIVICTORY were sent for sampling.
GENERAL:
Trainer W Y So was fined $5,000 for negligently presenting CULTURAL CITY and FOREVER AHEAD in the incorrect number cloths for batch 7 of the Official Barrier Trials conducted on Saturday, 6 September 2014.

Trump lived up to a nice trial when defying a deep run without cover in third to take control 300m out for an easy win. Favourite Multivictory dictated a fairly soft lead, straightened a length on top and kept plugging away when headed to just hold stablemate Helene Super Star for second. Helene Super Star made his run in midfield and one off the rails, forced six deep by Little Men at the 300m and was closing the gap with every stride in a pleasing return to action over an unsuitable distance. He'll be one to keep safe over a mile or further. Deep Thinker was handy in the run, straightened four deep and kept on one-paced with every chance. Plunged late, Little Men travelled worse than midfield near the rails, angled five deep at the 350m and stayed on all right to just finish out of the Quartet. Smart Man made his run fourth from the rear and one off the rails and made some late progress without threatening. Specked late, Royal Partner was getting going late from near the back after a three deep trip without menacing. Sichuan Vigour travelled ahead of midfield with cover, cornered four deep and was yielding ground 200m out. He's likely on or near his mark.
