Less than a year after opening in Tai Hang, popular Swiss-Italian restaurant Nocino has opened its second branch in Kwun Tong. With seating for 30, the Wai Yip Street location will serve Nocino’s signature grotto-style cuisine, including dishes such as ox cheek and pickled walnut ragù pappardelle and ’nduja reginette. Draught beer and Swiss wines comprise the drinks list, with special sundowner deals to entice the office crowd.

From the team behind Ask For Alonzo, this new addition to Taikoo Shing brings a touch of Parisian charm to the neighbourhood. Hong Kong has upped its doughnut game with the opening of the city’s first Mister Donut store, in K11 Art Mall. The popular Japanese chain is known for items such as the Pon de Ring, with its mochi-like consistency, French crullers and more – visitors to the store can choose from a selection of 28 types of doughnut. With plans to launch a second location in Kwun Tong, it looks like Mister Donut is only just getting started.
