Bedu’s new menu
Middle Eastern restaurant Bedu celebrates head chef Ali Ahmadpour’s one-year anniversary with a new menu fusing traditional Persian, Turkish and Jordanian flavours with local accents. The software engineer-turned-chef has whipped up new creations such as green couscous salmon, grilled harissa octopus and saffron chicken. Vegetarian options abound in the likes of cucumber dukkah, roasted pine-nut aubergine, grilled-mushroom kebab, charred green beans and winter pumpkin. Get there early for happy hour, from 5pm to 7pm.

Ozone’s Neo Nexus
The highest rooftop bar in the world now has a new cocktail menu. Titled Neo Nexus, this collection of 12 drinks is inspired by cyberpunk and Middle Eastern flavours, and divided into themes of Neo, Nexus and Tropical Noir, each representing points on a creative timeline. Served in bespoke 3D-printed vessels made from sustainable materials, the menu features local ingredients as well as ferments, with a wide range of mocktails also on offer.
