Which of these celebrity workout videos will help you lose weight, get toned and transform your body the quickest?

There are plenty of world-class trainers and influencer fitness gurus out there transforming people’s lives everyday. However, many prefer watching their favourite celebrities transform their bodies into killer figures, either for a role or just simply to live more healthfully.

We take a look at a few celebrities and what their workout routines actually do.

Chris Hemsworth

Hollywood celebrity Chris Hemsworth’s high energy, go-get-’em attitude is a great motivator. The way this Australian stays at the top of his game, according to Hemsworth’s personal trainer, Luke Zocchi, is through a series of traditional bodybuilding and fast-moving functional training. It turns calories into muscle but keeps them lean and nimble enough to allow Hemsworth do many of his own stunts.

His workout routine has been so effective for Hemsworth he launched his own fitness app called Centr earlier this year. On it, a dedicated team (hand-picked by the actor) advises users on workouts, diet and how to live a more well-rounded, healthy lifestyle.

Jung Da-yeon

South Korean fitness guru, Jung Da-yeon (known as momjjang ajumma, or “mom with a striking figure”) initially found regional fame in Japan where her exercises in the form of dance routines caught the public’s attention. Her workout instructions are readily available on YouTube, where she teaches routines either through dance or aerobic-inspired moves, a term she calls “figurerobics”.

Her workouts are geared toward slimming down and losing weight and are based on weight training that “makes a fit and perfect shape for Asians’ body type”, she said. Her videos are split into targeting different areas, and her exercises are hugely popular in China and Japan. If you want something slightly more interactive, Jung released a Nintendo Wii game in Japan called Mom-chan Diet Wii: Figurerobics.
