Vodka-infused afternoon tea set packs a punch at Conrad Hotel Hong Kong
Why not start happy hour with vodka-infused pastries?
For Hongkongers seeking a serious buzz, there are now vodka afternoon teas, making Champagne teas look prim, proper and well-behaved.
Conrad Hotel Hong Kong’s Lobby Lounge is the first to offer an afternoon tea set by Absolut Vodka, featuring vodka-infused pastries by chef Billy Yuen.
So why not start happy hour with a refreshing Mojito tart, the base of which is topped with poached pear, mint leaves and Absolut pear?
Or try the Instagram-perfect Absolut Apeach Cosmopolitan Éclair.
With the alcohol-infused cream stuffed in the baked pastry, the confection is attached to a small tube of vodka and cranberry juice that pumps a cocktail into the confection.
And what’s a boozy dessert without a bottle of vodka? You can take a miniature bottle of Absolut away to extend the holiday mood back home.
The afternoon tea is priced at HK$298 per serving and HK$498 for two.
