Gifts of food and drinks are always crowd pleasers. We have put together a short list of our favourite ones available in Hong Kong and beyond.

1. Panettone from chef Andrew Wong

Panettone has long been a staple for the holidays, and this year private-kitchen chef Andrew Wong is selling three versions of the Italian sweet bread through his shop &drew.

The first, Wong’s personal favourite, is a classic version made with candied orange, raisins and milk chocolate, while the second is a matcha strawberry panettone with pistachio and white chocolate.

Finally, the chocolate peanut panettone – which Wong calls “the sexiest” of the three – is packed with white, milk and dark chocolate, along with a generous helping of chopped peanuts. Buy one 750-gram panettone for HK$488 or all three for HK$1,388.

Available via foodhubandrew.com; can be delivered or picked up at Wong Chuk Hang MTR Station.

2. Whisky and limited-edition glasses from The Glenlivet

This Christmas, bottles of The Glenlivet whisky aged 18 years or more come with a set of limited-edition glasses handcrafted in Japan and illustrated by Hong Kong artist Tse Sai Pei. Photo: The Glenlivet
