Michelin Guide Singapore 2024: 11 new Bib Gourmand awards for value meals dished out
- Michelin’s Bib Gourmand award recognise places, in Singapore mostly hawker food stalls, that serve good-value-for-money meals
The Michelin Guide Singapore 2024 has awarded Bibs Gourmand to 81 restaurants, hawker food and street food stalls, 11 of them for the first time. The awards recognise the good-value food they serve.
Announced on June 18, ahead of the unveiling of the full Michelin Guide selection on June 25, the list features nine new entrants and two that have been moved from the Michelin Selected category.
The total of 81 Bib Gourmand awards is two more than in 2023.
Michelin gives the Bib Gourmand to places its inspectors consider offer the best- value-for-money gourmet experiences.
“When talking about Singapore’s cuisine, one cannot overlook the integral role of hawker centres. These are not only a part of everyday life for the common people, but also a microcosm of the Lion City’s multi-ethnic society,” said Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide.
