He is also a director, and his latest film – How to Make a Killing, in which he also stars – is the one he is most proud of.

The film, which is due for official release in France in January, is one of almost 50 showing at the Hong Kong French Film Festival (HKFFF), which is on at various venues around the city until December 10.

The festival, now in its 53rd year, is hosted by non-profit organisation Alliance Française de Hong Kong and features the newest and best of French cinema as well as in-person talks from industry heavyweights, including Dubosc.

“It is my first visit to Hong Kong and I feel very at home already, even though I only arrived yesterday,” Dubosc tells the Post in an interview at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Hong Kong’s Central neighbourhood.
