Voice 1: The new Fantasy Springs theme area at Tokyo DisneySea opened earlier this month. The attraction offers visitors the chance to experience the worlds of three films: Frozen, Peter Pan and Tangled. The new area is the eighth themed port in DisneySea, which is adjacent to Tokyo Disneyland. To enter Fantasy Springs, visitors must go through an archway surrounded by rocks that look like Peter Pan, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa.

Voice 2: Fantasy Springs was opened after a ceremony that was attended by around 100 people chosen by lottery from the park’s fan club and others. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse also showed up. Fantasy Springs has four rides, three restaurants and a hotel. In the ride named Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, visitors board a boat that moves back and forth, guiding them through the story of the film Frozen.

Voice 1: Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure features a boat ride with an immersive 3D experience. The mission is to help Peter, Tinker Bell and the Lost Kids rescue John from Captain Hook and his band of pirates. Walt Disney Imagineering combined motion-based ride vehicles with 3D effects, custom animation, and practical sets to create a sense of flight in the new dark ride. According to 10-year-old Rino Nishimura, who visited the park in costume with her parents, she felt like she was flying in the sky.

Voice 2: Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies, the second attraction in Never Land, sends riders around Pixie Hollow with Tinker Bell as she delivers gifts to her fellow fairies. The Busy Buggies queue is filled with larger-than-life flowers, mushrooms, paint brushes, and nibbled cheese to create the illusion that riders have shrunk to the size of fairies. Riders climb into wicker baskets with seat backs made from envelopes for a two-minute adventure through the fairy valley on vehicles with spinning bases.

Voice 1: As with other Disney theme parks, Fantasy Springs boasts a variety of unique dining options that are sure to delight visitors. One such establishment is the Lookout Cookout, a counter-service restaurant creatively assembled from a salvaged shipwreck. This whimsical eatery is themed as the Lost Kids’ hideout, complete with cosy hammocks and scattered pyjamas, offering a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Voice 2: Fantasy Springs also has a 475-room hotel themed on Disney classics like Beauty and the Beast and Bambi. Visitors to the new area must buy a Disney Premier Access pass or obtain a free standby pass, in addition to an entrance ticket to Tokyo DisneySea.
