As well as meeting local fans from the Hong Kong Manchester United Supporters’ Club, they met some of the city’s own most popular sportsmen – its jockeys.

The quintet are in town on a promotional trip, plugging a new app and local broadcaster Now TV’s football coverage for next season.

Manchester football journalist Andy Mitten posted a pic of the ex-pros on Twitter that quickly went viral.

Along with David Beckham, the Class of 92 won the lot with United in the 90s and early 2000s, after coming through the ranks together as schoolboys.

And Gary Neville showed their sense of humour hasn’t changed much since they were kids as he had his mates cracking up on the MTR, disrupting an attempt to make a promo video by throwing a ball into the presenter’s face.
