Zac Purton is an Australian jockey who has ridden in Hong Kong since the 2007-08 season. In 2013-14, he ended the 13-year reign of Douglas Whyte as champion jockey with 112 wins, becoming the first Australian to win the title since 1991. He has also ridden Group One winners in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Japan and the United Kingdom in the past three seasons, with his victory on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup especially noteworthy. Military Attack, Aerovelocity, Ambitious and Luger are among the horses with which he has become associated.
