Ryan Moore is an English jockey widely considered to be the world's finest rider. Moore began his first extended Hong Kong stint in early 2016, having already made his mark in the city in previous visits. This season alone, he added the Hong Kong Mile on Maurice and the Hong Kong Vase on Highland Reel to his 2010 Hong Kong Cup victory on Snow Fairy, giving him three of the four December features. His record also includes a dead-heat International Jockeys' Championship win in 2009 and an outright victory in the same series in 2010, as well as a QE II Cup win on Presvis. Globally, he has won some of the world's best races, including the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, the Melbourne Cup and the Japan Cup, as well as three Champion Jockey titles in Britain.
