Kei Chiong Ka-kei is a female apprentice rider, the first local woman to ride in Hong Kong since Carol Yu Wing-sze retired from the saddle in mid-2000. Beginning her career in early 2012, she was indentured to New Zealand trainers Graham Richardson and Allan Sharrock, riding 44 winners. At the start of the 2015-16 season, she returned to Hong Kong to continue her career.
