Jack Wong Ho-nam is an apprentice rider. He joined the Hong Kong Apprentice Jockeys' School in 2009, receiving his licence to ride three years later. At first indentured to champion New Zealand trainer John Sargent, he moved to the South Island and Mike McCann in May 2013, before returning to the North Island and the stables of Lance O'Sullivan in March 2014. Wong rode 36 winners in New Zealand before returning to Hong Kong to begin his local career in March 2015.
