Gerald Mosse is a French jockey with a long and storied career in Hong Kong. Mosse has ridden in Hong Kong for more than a quarter of a century, snaring his first big win at Sha Tin on River Verdon in the 1991 Hong Kong Cup. The Frenchman has been coming to Hong Kong for stints since the mid-1990s and has won almost every big race, including all four Hong Kong international races, the Hong Kong Derby, the QE II Cup and the Champions Mile. With wins in major races like the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and the Melbourne Cup, Mosse is one of world racing's elder statesmen.
