Favourite View Of The World had a lovely run third with cover from gate five and kept on gamely after hitting the front 150m out for a third win from seven starts. He's a smart horse and was able to deliver jockey Zac Purton a record-breaking 1,814th win in Hong Kong. A Americ Te Specso flew home late down the outside ridden second last from gate 10 to make it close on the wire. He was fitter third up off two positive runs. Prawns Eleven ran on nicely to finish a close third after a rails run from behind midfield. He can produce a big run now and then. Eternal Fortune ran on steadily from midfield for fourth without threatening the top three. The big weight took its toll following a win. California Deeply ran on steadily for fifth after making his run outside Prawns Eleven from gate six. He rarely produces a bad run over this course and distance. Parterre made some ground without threatening near the inside settling fourth last from gate 12. He's itching for a return to Class Four. Power Koepp was on his tippy toes 100m out after racing to the lead 300m out following a speed-tracking run outside leader Allgreektome.

Horse No 2 A AMERIC TE SPECSO (H037) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded by POWER KOEPP which was taken out by KING ECCELLENTE.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 3 PRAWNS ELEVEN (J140) M F Poon Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 4 VIEW OF THE WORLD (J348) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 5 CALIFORNIA DEEPLY (G451) B Avdulla Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out to the finish when placed in restricted room between PRAWNS ELEVEN and A AMERIC TE SPECSO which shifted in.

Horse No 6 ALLGREEKTOME (H007) L Ferraris Near the 250 Metres was steadied to avoid POWER KOEPP (A Pouchin) which shifted in.

A Pouchin was reprimanded and advised that he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mounts when they shift ground whilst not clear.

Horse No 7 KING ECCELLENTE (G264) H Bentley Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 8 POWER KOEPP (E301) A Pouchin Taken out shortly after the start.

After the event, A Pouchin advised that from a wide barrier his instructions were to take up a forward position.

Horse No 9 SERGEANT PEPPER (E432) M L Yeung Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start got its head up when racing tight to the inside of PARTERRE.

In the early stages SERGEANT PEPPER continued to get its head up when being shifted behind runners.

Trainer Y S Tsui confirmed that the instructions were to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages.

Horse No 10 FLAGSHIP WARRIOR (G452) E C W Wong Was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

When commencing to finish the race off was steadied when disappointed for clear running between ALLGREEKTOME and PARTERRE which shifted in passing the 200 Metres.

FLAGSHIP WARRIOR was then shifted to the outside of PARTERRE near the 50 Metres to obtain clear running.

Horse No 12 LUCKY ARCHANGEL (E385) Y L Chung Near the 250 Metres was steadied when momentarily tightened by ALLGREEKTOME.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
