Recap by phillip woo

To Infinity kept on gamely after hitting the front 150m out following a rail run from behind midfield for a fifth win over the Valley 1,650m from 32 starts. Red Majesty ran on nicely to finish a close second after a one-off trip in midfield. He will be saluting shortly if he remains in the grade. Second favourite Viva Graciousness kept on well for third after driving to the lead 1,300m out from gate one. It was another good run carrying more weight following a win. Tradition made inroads late for fourth after biding his time two from the rear. He has produced a good run now and then from five starts this term. Favourite Classic Century kept on one-paced with every chance after a box seat run. He couldn't build on a last start third but it's still early days for the four-year-old. Handsome Bomb gradually faded after prompting the pace from gate two. It was a better effort at his fourth time of asking this term. Turin Warrior ran on without threatening settling second last from gate 10. He couldn't back up a last-start win.
