Racing Incident Report
Race Seven : (275) - SIU LEK YUEN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 DANCING CODE (G365) H Bowman Jumped only fairly and shortly after was crowded by BEAUTY GLORY which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.
After the event, H Bowman reported that his mount, which was having its first start on the All Weather surface, did not travel well at any stage of the race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337) J McDonald Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 VICTORY MOMENTS (H142) M Chadwick Near the 50 Metres raced tight between HAROLD WIN and SELF IMPROVEMENT, both of which shifted ground slightly.
Horse No 4 SUPER WIN DRAGON (E253) C Y Ho Near the 650 Metres went amiss when sustaining an injury to the right hind leg and fell, resulting in its rider C Y Ho being dislodged.
C Y Ho was transported to hospital for medical treatment.
Horse No 5 SUPREME AGILITY (J267) A Pouchin After the event, A Pouchin reported that, in his opinion, SUPREME AGILITY would be better suited by being stepped back up in distance for its next race start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 PACKING BOLE (H246) C L Chau Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 HAPPY FAT CAT (G166) P N Wong On jumping knuckled over badly, resulting in HAPPY FAT CAT losing ground and its rider Apprentice P N Wong becoming badly unbalanced.
Near the 650 Metres was hampered when taken wider by BOWSER.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 MUST GO (J133) B Avdulla Shortly after the start was bumped.
Near the 100 Metres was hampered when taken wider by BEAUTY GLORY (Y L Chung) which shifted out.
Y L Chung was reprimanded and advised that he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mounts sooner than what he did on this occasion.
After the event, B Avdulla reported that his mount was inconvenienced when taken wider near the 100 Metres and finished the race off fairly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 BEAUTY GLORY (E459) Y L Chung Shifted out at the start and was bumped on the hindquarters.
Horse No 10 GAMEPLAYER ELITE (H356) H Bentley On jumping was hampered by HAPPY FAT CAT which shifted out abruptly.
Hung in under pressure in the Home Straight.
Horse No 11 HAROLD WIN (J280) M L Yeung After the 400 Metres lay in and became unbalanced as its rider M L Yeung pulled his whip through to his right hand.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 BOWSER (H460) H T Mo From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 650 Metres was checked to avoid the fallen SUPER WIN DRAGON.

Punted late, Packing Bole kept finding after turning the final bend three lengths on top after leading from gate one for a third win from 10 starts and second from six starts over the dirt 1,200m. Self Improvement was eating up the ground late for second after a one-off trip from midfield with late betting action. It was another good effort. Harold Win stayed on well for third after sitting outside the winner in the run from gate two. It was a nice effort at his first start on the surface. Beauty Glory just got up for fourth after a boxseat run. It was a positive showing at his first effort on the surface. Early favourite Must Go made some ground late to just miss a spot in the first four following a one-off trip from behind midfield. He needed a faster pace. Victory Moments found little when asked for an effort following a prominent run. He's not the same horse this season. Dancing Code found nothing after a rails run from midfield. It was a dull effort down in grade with a switch in surface. Super Win Dragon fell to the ground and unseated his rider when going amiss towards the rear 600m out.
