Race Seven : (227) - THE PENINSULA GOLDEN JUBILEE CHALLENGE CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 2 - 1200Meters
Horse No 2 WHIZZ KID (E392) B Avdulla After the event, B Avdulla reported that his mount stumbled badly on jumping and as a result lost ground and settled at the rear of the field.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 BUNDLE OF CHARM (G213) A Badel A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 RAGING BLIZZARD (H368) J McDonald After the event, J McDonald reported that whilst his mount travelled satisfactorily during the race, it did not respond strongly to his riding in the Home Straight and may have not appreciated racing on the All Weather surface for the first time.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 CAPITAL DELIGHT (H262) C Y Ho Jumped only fairly.
Near the 500 Metres was steadied when crowded between FULL CREDIT and TOMODACHI KOKOROE which shifted in and away from SUPERB BOY.
CAPITAL DELIGHT then raced tight to the inside of TOMODACHI KOKOROE for some distance thereafter and was shifted to that runner's outside near the 350 Metres to obtain clear running.
Near the 150 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between BUNDLE OF CHARM and RAGING BLIZZARD which shifted out.
Horse No 8 SUPERB BOY (G335) A Atzeni Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 9 SUPREME LUCKY (G457) A Hamelin Near the 800 Metres lost ground when reluctant to hold its position to the inside of CAPITAL DELIGHT.
Horse No 10 SEASONS WIT (H223) M L Yeung Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 11 FULL CREDIT (J185) M F Poon Knuckled on jumping.

Horse No 12 SING DRAGON (J141) M Chadwick Sent for sampling post-race.

Sing Dragon settled third with cover for a good part of the run, rushed to the lead 180m out and just held off stablemate Full Credit to record a fourth win from five starts. Full Credit made it close on the wire after a handy run on the fence. It was a solid effort at his first run on the surface. Call Me Glorious gave a cheeky sight after leading one off from gate 10 for third. It was a good effort. Tomodachi Kokoroe stayed on for fourth without threatening the top three after a one-off trip from better than midfield. Supreme Lucky came from near last for fifth. It was a better effort with a switch in surface, but he remains one on his mark. Majestic Knight weakened after a pace-prompting run along the inside. He will be looking forward to a return to the Valley. Bundle Of Charm stayed on without threatening from behind midfield. He was not able to extend his unbeaten run to three on this surface. Raging Blizzard never landed a blow after a wide with cover trip from midfield. He will likely stick to turf racing now.
