Recap by phillip woo

Firming favourite Geneva turned the final bend one-off from behind midfield and got the gaps when required near the inside to get up 50m out for back-to-back wins. He should hold his own up in grade off a lighter weight. Packing Angel found one too good after hitting the front 160m out following a prominent run with cover one off the fence. Great Sprit ran on well for third from midfield. He was able to back up a last-start win. Newcomer Offroad Master stayed on reasonably well after a box-seat run. It was a nice debut run. Winning Lion came from near last for fifth without threatening the top four. He also produced a pleasing run on debut. Solar Up just held his ground after a one-off trip from midfield. He couldn't back up a third last start and likely needs to dip his legs into Class Five. Spicy Spangle was stopping 150m out after getting his own way in front from gate six. It was a disappointing run after hanging on for placings in two prior starts. Beauty Missile never landed a blow from towards the rear.
