Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (114) - THE STRIDING ON TOGETHER 1200M HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 2 MAJESTIC EXPRESS (J244) B Avdulla Jumped awkwardly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Briefly held up approaching the 300 Metres.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 SUPER LEGENDS (H364) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 GIANT LEAP (J143) C L Chau After the event, C L Chau stated that his mount was able to take up an on-pace position and in the Home Straight did not respond strongly to his riding but he could offer no explanation in respect to its performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 BIENVENUE (J490) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and was bumped.
Horse No 7 CARRYON SMILING (J392) M L Yeung Had its right hind plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 9 LUCKY GENERATIONS (J338) H Bowman Shortly after the start was crowded.
Leaving the 900 Metres commenced to race keenly.
Approaching the 800 Metres shifted out when being steadied away from GLUCK RACER.
After the 600 Metres lay out when endeavouring to hold its position to the outside of GLUCK RACER.
Near the 350 Metres got its head up and became unbalanced when being steadied to avoid GLUCK RACER (M Chadwick) which shifted out.
M Chadwick was advised to exercise more care.
After the event, H Bowman could offer no explanation for his mount's performance.

Horse No 10 HAPPY PARK (J311) A Atzeni Shortly after the start was crowded between LUCKY GENERATIONS and GLUCK RACER which was taken out.
After the event, A Atzeni stated that after being crowded shortly after the start his mount settled further back than what he had intended.
Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race.
Horse No 11 FUN N GLORY (G003) P N Wong After the event, Apprentice P N Wong stated that the intention was to lead.
She said in the early stages when unable to cross SUPER LEGENDS, her mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 12 DOUBLE BINGO (J309) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.
Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.
Horse No 13 SPICY SPANGLE (J087) M F Poon After the event, M F Poon stated that his instructions were not to specifically lead, but after commencing well SPICY SPANGLE was able to improve to the front without being pressured to do so.
He said in the early stages when his mount was travelling comfortably he allowed it to continue to stride forward rather than breaking its momentum as it was travelling in a comfortable rhythm.
Horse No 14 GLUCK RACER (E157) M Chadwick Crowded on jumping by SPICY SPANGLE which shifted out.

Majestic Express turned the final bend second last and ran on strongly along the inside to get up in the last stride for a first win at his seventh start. Super Legends found one just too good after settling third in the run with cover. It was another good effort carrying nine pounds more following a win. Spicy Spangle wouldn't go down without a fight after skipping clear in front by three lengths upon straightening. He proved a second last start over the straight 1,000m was not a fluke. Fun N Glory stayed on well for fourth after chasing the speed three wide without cover from gate 13. It was a good run on his seasonal reappearance. Beauty Missile ran on steadily to just miss the frame after a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was a pleasing run carrying topweight. Bienvenue held his ground after a rail run from midfield. He has gone all right in both starts but is still a work in progress. Punted late, Happy Park made some ground without threatening after a one-off trip from behind midfield.
