Punted late, Green N White travelled one-off behind midfield and drew clear after hitting the front near the 100m for a fourth win from 11 starts. It was a solid training feat following fetlock surgery in April. Sky Trust stayed on second best after getting held up and bothered for a run until near the 100m following a box-seat run. It was another good effort. Prestige Always found a couple too good after moving to the lead 300m out following a pace-stalking run. He ran well carrying four pounds more following a win. Huge Wave ran on well for fourth after a wide with cover trip from behind midfield. It was a good run after turning the corner late last season. King Miles was doing some nice work late for fifth after spotting them three lengths at the start. Leslie made some ground without threatening after a rail run from behind midfield. He tends to mix his form. Never Too Soon made some ground late after making his run one from the rear. Not Usual Star found nothing when push came to shove after a handy run with cover.

Race Ten : (120) - THE LOVE RACING 1400M HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters

Horse No 1 GREEN N WHITE (H186) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 3 HUGE WAVE (J197) A Badel Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 4 KING MILES (J158) C Y Ho Prior to declaring weighed-in, the Stewards gave consideration whether the horse had been afforded a fair start.

After interviewing Jockey C Y Ho, they established that as the start was effected KING MILES lowered its head and as a consequence missed the start.

As the Stewards were satisfied that such occurrence was simultaneous to the start being effected, KING MILES was declared a starter.

Horse No 5 SIMPLE HEDGE (H237) A Atzeni Slow to begin.

Horse No 7 BEAUTY GLORY (E459) B Avdulla Bumped at the start.

In the Home Straight lay out and approaching the winning post became awkwardly placed close to KING MILES and as a consequence could not be ridden out to the finish.

After the event, B Avdulla stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position but despite riding his mount along in the early stages BEAUTY GLORY failed to show sufficient pace to do so.

Horse No 9 NOT USUAL STAR (G396) L Hewitson After the event, L Hewitson stated that his mount enjoyed a good run during the race but failed to quicken when asked for an effort in the Home Straight and he could offer no excuse for his mount's performance.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 10 TIMES TABLE (J230) M Chadwick Jumped only fairly and then bumped with BEAUTY GLORY.

Approaching the 800 Metres hung out and appeared to strike the heels of SUPER GOLDI, resulting in TIMES TABLE blundering, becoming unbalanced and dislodging its rider M Chadwick.

M Chadwick was treated by the medical officers and transported to hospital for further observation.

Before being allowed to race again, TIMES TABLE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial around a bend in Hong Kong.

Horse No 11 SKY TRUST (J161) L Ferraris From the 400 Metres until the 300 Metres was held up for clear running behind ORIENTAL SMOKE.

When improving to the inside of ORIENTAL SMOKE after the 300 Metres raced tight to the inside of that runner for some distance thereafter and approaching the 200 Metres made contact with ORIENTAL SMOKE.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 13 ORIENTAL SMOKE (E467) B Thompson Bumped approaching the 200 Metres.

Horse No 14 MOJAVE DESERT (J330) M L Yeung After the event, M L Yeung reported that from a wide barrier and his mount stepping up in distance, he was requested to take up a more forward position.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

After the running of Race 2, the track classification was officially changed from "Good" to "Good to Firm" This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.

As a consequence of this, the official results will show Races 1 and 2 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm"
