Racing Incident Report
Race Six : (90) - HARBOUR VIEW HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 SWIFT ASCEND (H395) Z Purton Approaching the first turn near the 1000 Metres was eased when crowded between SKY SONG and YOU'REMYEVERYTHING which lay in and away from KING GLORIOSO.
Lay in in the Home Straight and near the 200 Metres shifted in and bumped GIMME FIVE.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 KING GLORIOSO (J247) H Bowman Raced tight to the inside of LEAN MASTER near the 150 Metres and made contact with NEBRASKAN.
After the event, H Bowman confirmed that his instructions were if his mount commenced well tonight to endeavour to obtain a forward position.
Horse No 3 NEBRASKAN (J304) B Avdulla When giving ground near the 150 Metres was bumped by KING GLORIOSO.
After the event, B Avdulla confirmed that his instructions were to take up a forward position.
He added after obtaining the lead NEBRASKAN failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of NEBRASKAN was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.
Before being allowed to race again, NEBRASKAN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 4 LEAN MASTER (H134) H Bentley A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 EN PERFECTO (J409) M F Poon Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 7 SKY SONG (J159) B Thompson After the event, B Thompson stated that other than SKY SONG being back up in grade for tonight's event, he could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 TALENTS SUPREMO (H133) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.
On the Home Turn was shifted to the outside of SMART FIGHTER to secure clear running and then raced tight between SMART FIGHTER and GIMME FIVE between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres.
Horse No 10 GIMME FIVE (J099) C Y Ho Near the 200 Metres was bumped by SWIFT ASCEND which lay in despite the efforts of its rider.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 SUPER GLORY (J025) A Badel Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 12 WINNING HEART (H065) M Chadwick Near the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of KING GLORIOSO to continue into clear running.

Favourite Swift Ascend swooped down the outside to take control 150m out after making his run three from the rear to register a first local win for both horse and his new trainer David Eustace at his sixth local run. It was a solid training feat first up following a ligament injury. Gimme Five stayed on nicely for second after travelling three wide with no cover in midfield. He's close to a win after giving a good sight in both runs this term. Smart Fighter kept on well for third after slotting fourth with cover from a tricky gate. It was another good effort on the back of a second last month. Talents Supremo ran on steadily to fill the frame after settling behind midfield. it was another honest effort. You'remyeverything made some ground after a one-off trip in midfield. He went OK for his new trainer. En Perfecto came from towards the rear to finish next best after a slow start. He has performed better with a switch to the Valley in two of his past three starts. Lean Master didn't have much in the run to the wire after chasing the leader Nebraskan one off the rail from gate 12.
