Race Four : (88) - HARBOUR VIEW HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 KING ECCELLENTE (G264) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 AURORA LADY (J066) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 GOLDEN RISE (H242) B Avdulla After the event, B Avdulla reported that approaching the 100 Metres his mount was held up for clear running between NEVER PETER OUT and SWEET DIAMOND which was giving ground and as a result was unable to be fully ridden out to the finish of the event.
Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.
Horse No 5 UNISON (H423) A Atzeni Bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 6 YEE CHEONG SPIRIT (H379) C Y Ho From the outside barrier jumped awkwardly and then was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Over the final 200 Metres lay in.
Horse No 7 SWEET DIAMOND (G063) L Hewitson Jumped only fairly.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 FORTUNE RACER (J234) Y L Chung Jumped only fairly.
Making the Home Turn raced tight to the inside of WORLD HERO.
Horse No 10 SO TREASURE (H351) L Ferraris Near the 200 Metres shifted out and away from UNISON.
After the event, L Ferraris and Trainer M Newnham confirmed that from a wide barrier the instructions were to ride SO TREASURE in a conservative manner in the early stages.
Horse No 11 NEVER PETER OUT (J200) M L Yeung Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.
Horse No 12 WOOD ON FIRE (C460) H T Mo Jumped awkwardly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 200 Metres was hampered when taken wider by SO TREASURE which shifted out and away from UNISON when that runner shifted out slightly.
After the event, H T Mo reported that when the pace of the event was run inside of standard time in the early stages, he then elected to shift WOOD ON FIRE across behind runners in the early stages to avoid racing wide.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Smashed in betting to jump favourite, Aurora Lady settled second on the fence, hit the lead 150m out and drew clear for a first win after minor placings in three of his first five starts. He should remain competitive up in grade off a light weight. Early favourite King Eccellente stayed on second best after a box-seat run. It was a good run down in grade carrying top weight. Yee Cheong Spirit ran on strongly after a patient ride in third last to just miss the Quinella spot. He's close to a win after catching the eye in both starts from wide draws this term. Lyrical Motion just held onto fourth after getting his own way in front from gate seven. He needed the run after a fetlock injury in May. So Treasure ran on late but just missed the frame after making his run three from the rear. He might not be far off a bottom. Unison wasn't far away in a battle for minor prize money after travelling one off the fence in midfield. He's given a decent sight in both career runs this term and could go well next time out. Never Peter Out kept on all right after a rail run from better than midfield.
