Horse No 1 CAPITAL DELIGHT (H262) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 TALENTS AMBITION (J136) H Bentley From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 6 SUPER WIN DRAGON (E253) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 NATURAL HIGH (J365) P N Wong From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 12 UNPRESUMING (H143) A Badel UNPRESUMING, which was fractious in the barriers, jumped only fairly and then was bumped by CAPITAL DELIGHT.
In the Home Straight lay in, resulting in its rider A Badel changing his whip through to his right hand near the 250 Metres and had some difficulty as he did so.
Passing the 200 Metres, A Badel dropped his whip.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the event, A Badel reported that due to his mount being fractious in the barriers, approaching the first turn near the 800 Metres he was obliged to re-position his right foot in the stirrup.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Super Win Dragon took control 100m out after a well-executed ride travelling fourth on the fence for a fifth career win over the dirt 1,200m. Capital Delight made it close on the wire after coming to the final bend wide without cover travelling midfield. It was another good run on the surface carrying top weight following a win in June. Favourite Talents Ambition came from near last to go under narrowly. It was a solid effort trying the 1,200m after a mile win in June. Self Improvement just edged long-time leader Packing Bole for fourth without threatening the top three after a speed-tracking run. He rarely produces a bad run on this surface. Punted late Packing Bole tired late after dictating the run as expected from gate two. He needed the outing following knee surgery. Viva Chaleur whacked on one paced after a midfield run near the inside. He too required the run after a ligament injury in April.
