Racing Incident Report
Race One : (1) - KOWLOON PEAK HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1600Meters
Horse No 1 FURY AND GOLD (H202) A Atzeni From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 1100 Metres commenced to race keenly and improved to the inside of HARRY'S HERO which shifted in.
A short distance later was then steadied to avoid HARRY'S HERO, shifted in and made contact with TIGER AND GOLD.
Horse No 2 JOYFUL PROSPERITY (H213) H Bowman From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 4 MR ALADDIN (H386) A Badel Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Was found to have bled from both nostrils after the race.
Before being allowed to race again, MR ALADDIN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 5 CIRCUIT NINE (G140) C L Chau Jumped only fairly.
Over the concluding stages, CIRCUIT NINE, which lay in, was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of GO GO GO which shifted out slightly.
As a result, CIRCUIT NINE could not be ridden out to the finish of the event.
Horse No 6 HARRY'S HERO (H332) H Bentley In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 1000 Metres was steadied away from SUNNY BABY.
Lay out in the Home Straight.
Horse No 7 KINGLY DEMEANOR (H486) B Avdulla After the event, B Avdulla could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 GO GO GO (H196) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 TIGER AND GOLD (J064) M L Yeung Jumped only fairly.
Near the 1100 Metres was crowded.
The performance of TIGER AND GOLD, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, TIGER AND GOLD will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 10 CASA LEGEND (G126) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 11 SUNNY BABY (E166) K Teetan Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 LEATHER MASTER (H034) B Thompson After the event, B Thompson reported that his mount was able to obtain an advantageous position where it travelled satisfactorily.
He stated in the Home Straight LEATHER MASTER failed to respond to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Favourite Go Go Go held off the fast-finishing Sunny Baby after a patient Zac Purton ride to break his maiden at start 19. After positioning Go Go Go one off the rail and forward of midfield in a race run at a decent tempo, Purton popped his mount out upon straightening and went for home at the 300m. Outsider Sunny Baby closed impressively from behind midfield, striding out nicely in the dying stages to miss by a rapidly diminishing half a length. Second elect Joyful Prosperity was taken back to near last from gate 12 by Hugh Bowman but was another to finish full of running, grabbing third in the final strides without threatening the first two. Circuit Nine stuck on solidly enough from midfield to finish fourth at $16, while $45 roughie Harry's Hero ran on down the middle of the track for fifth and Casa Legend was a clear sixth.
