Race Two : (822) - JOY AND FUN HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Meters
Horse No 3 SUPERB CAPITALIST (H092) Y L Chung Bumped on the hindquarters shortly after the start.
Horse No 4 HARMONY N BLESSED (E061) A Atzeni On jumping the left side of the saddle cloth was torn when it made contact with the barrier.
Horse No 5 CALL ME GLORIOUS (H410) Z Purton Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 JAMES TAK (J007) C L Chau On jumping was steadied when crowded between SUPERB CAPITALIST and CALL ME GLORIOUS which shifted in.
After the race, C L Chau stated that after being crowded at the start he had to make some use of his mount in the early stages to hold his position.
He said in the Home Straight JAMES TAK finished the race off in a one-paced manner.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 BEAUTY WAVES (H294) A Badel Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the left side of its barrier and became unbalanced.
Between the 350 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running.
Sent for sampling post-race.

Beauty Waves showed a good turn of foot to easily reel in odds-on favourite Call Me Glorious after gaining a clear path 200m out travelling second last following a tardy start. He has the tools to head higher after his third win. Call Me Glorious found one too smart after moving to the lead 150m out settling third and one off. It was a good run. Duke Wai came from last to fill a placing. The old-timer has returned to form to place in his past two starts. Packing Treadmill whacked on one-paced after a prominent run on the fence. Superb Capitalist gradually faded after chasing the leader on the fence. He is better suited at the Valley. Harmony N Blessed was stopping near the 100m after clearing to the lead from a wide draw. He has had a lot of racing and is more effective at the Valley. James Tak never landed a blow after a one-off trip from midfield.
