Recap by phillip woo

Late-fancied favourite Lucky Planet easily made all after jumping straight to the front from gate one for a first win at his 15th start. He had been racing consistently well and relished a return to the Valley. Sight Hero ran on nicely for second after settling on the rail in midfield. He is always a chance over the Valley 1,200m. Early favourite Harold Win stayed on for third after a prominent run. It was another good effort with a switch to the Valley and he should be winning races next season. Bowser made good ground late for fourth after travelling on the rail behind midfield. It was a positive showing with a switch to the Valley. Valhalla just plodded over the last 150m after stalkng the pace from gate three. He's itching for the summer break after a busy but productive campaign. Skyey Blue weakened after a box-seat run. The lightly-raced three-year-old is still a work in progress and may improve next season. Golden Champion ran on without threatening from towards the rear. Amazing Ace will sleep well after getting posted wide without cover from midfield.
