Horse No 2 NERVOUS WITNESS (E421) L Hewitson Close to the winning post raced tight to the inside of WHIZZ KID which shifted in slightly.
Horse No 3 WHIZZ KID (E392) B Avdulla Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 COPARTNER AMBITION (E218) M F Poon From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 5 BABY CRYSTAL (H081) Y L Chung After the race, Y L Chung reported that his mount hung out in the middle stages making the turns and failed to run on in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 BEAUTY WAVES (H294) K Teetan Hung out on the Home Turn after being taken wider by WHIZZ KID leaving the 400 Metres.

Majestic Knight took the short route home to just get up 60m out after biding his time in second last for a fourth Valley win this season and third from four starts over the 1,000m. It was a solid run carrying top weight. Whizz Kid just found one too good after chasing the leader from gate one. He is always a chance over the 1,000m. Firming at very short odds, Beauty Waves was travelling a bit awkwardly around the turn chasing the leading pair one off the fence but ran on well when balancing up upon straightening to finish a close third. Nervous Witness grudgingly gave way after mustering speed to eventually lead 900m out. He doesn't have points in hand around his current mark. Humble Star kept on one-paced after a handy run one off the fence. He has trouble holding his own at this level. Baby Crystal did not handle the turn after getting posted wide without cover in a prominent spot. He is a straight 1,000m specialist at Sha Tin. Copartner Ambition struggled to stay in touch at the rear with a step back in distance to the 1,000m.
