Approaching the 200 Metres was directed to the inside of TELECOM FIGHTERS to continue into clear running.
Horse No 3 ALL FOR ST PAUL'S (C517) M F Poon Bumped at the 350 Metres.
Horse No 4 ADEFILL (G317) K Teetan Bumped at the 350 Metres by ALL FOR ST PAUL'S which shifted out in an attempt to improve.

Horse No 5 YELLOWFIN (G326) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped by BUNDLE OF CHARM.

Firming to jump an odds-on favourite, Adefill came from last to win going away near the 100m for a third dirt 1,650m success to go with five other top-four efforts from nine starts. He did it quite comfortably despite a rise in class but is clearly a freak on this surface. Yellowfin found one too smart after taking off 550m out following a prominent run. He is as honest as the day is long but was suited by the light weight despite a rise in class. Telecom Fighters grudgingly gave way after getting his own way in front from gate one. It was a good effort despite giving away a 16-pound advantage in weight to each of the quinella pair. Bundle Of Charm whacked on one-paced after being short of room early in the straight following a box-seat run. He couldn't build on a two-from-two record over the dirt 1,200m at his first attempt over a mile trip. All For St Paul's didn't have much to offer when push came to shove in the straight after a speed-tracking run. He is likely at the end of his campaign.
