Racing Incident Report
Race Six : (641) - NORMAN CONQUEROR HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1600Meters
Horse No 1 LAUGH TALE (G406) H Bowman Shifted out shortly after the start.
After the race, H Bowman could offer no excuse for his mount's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of LAUGH TALE was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.
Before being allowed to race again, LAUGH TALE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 2 AESTHETICISM (H289) Z Purton Crowded shortly after the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 BIG RED (H299) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly.
From the 400 Metres until the 150 Metres was held up for clear running behind HOLY POWER.
Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out when positioned tight to the inside of HOLY POWER.
Horse No 5 STRONGEST BOY (H027) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.
After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount would appreciate a firmer track than what it was presented with today.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 HOLY POWER (H039) A Badel Approaching the winning post raced tight to the inside of MISTER DAPPER which shifted in.
After the race, A Badel reported that with his mount stepping up in distance today, he was asked to hold a more forward position.
Horse No 7 MISTER DAPPER (H376) M Chadwick After the race, M Chadwick advised that from a wide barrier he was asked to take up a forward position on his mount.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 SPONGE BABE (H350) H T Mo Bumped on jumping.
After the 1000 Metres was eased to avoid LAUGH TALE which shifted in to obtain cover behind CHILLI BABA.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
Before being allowed to race again, SPONGE BABE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 9 JOY OF SPRING (H383) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 GOOD GOOD (J224) B Avdulla Approaching the winning post B Avdulla was obliged to correct his mount when it shifted in towards BIG RED.
After the race, B Avdulla reported that with his mount stepping up in distance today, he was requested to take up a more forward position.
Horse No 12 MISSION VOICE (H444) L Ferraris Near the 300 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running behind BIG RED.
Near the 100 Metres became held up for clear running behind GOOD GOOD and was shifted to the outside to continue into clear running.
Horse No 13 CHILLI BABA (G339) A Hamelin Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Aestheticism showed a good turn of foot down the outside to just overhaul Mister Dapper after a patient ride fourth last for a third 1,600m win in Class Four this season. He will need to lift on his form in Class Three next time out. Mister Dapper found one just good after claiming the lead from Holy Power 300m out following a pace-stalking run to nearly land a betting plunge. He relished both a gear change and step back to the distance of an earlier win. Favourite Joy Of Spring ran on nicely widest out to finish a close third after making his run two from the rear. He continues to race well without winning. Holy Power grudgingly gave way after dictating the pace from gate eight. It was his best run of the campaign with a step up to 1,600m. Flying Mojito made some ground late after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He has been hovering around the finish in his past three starts. Good Good whacked on one paced after a handy run. It was an improved effort with a step up to 1,600m at this third career run.
