Racing Incident Report
Race Six : (480) - KWOON CHUNG INCLUSIVE & ACCESSIBLE SERVICE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 SOLAR PARTNER (E364) H Bowman Shifted out at the start and made contact with CHEER FOR SOUTH.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 RAGNARR (H297) L Ferraris Bumped on jumping.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 4 ACE POWER (J181) H Bentley Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its barrier.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 PARTY WARRIOR (E368) K De Melo After the 150 Metres raced tight to the inside of SUPER EAGLE for some distance and as a result was held up for clear running.
Horse No 6 YODA'S CHOICE (J146) Z Purton For a short distance approaching the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running between SUPER AXIOM and ACE POWER.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 GLORIOUS EXPERT (J028) K C Leung When questioned, K C Leung stated that from a wide barrier as GLORIOUS EXPERT had raced keenly at its previous race start, he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages.
He said after jumping awkwardly, GLORIOUS EXPERT then got its head up and became unbalanced when being shifted across behind runners.
He said after obtaining a position at the tail of the field making the first turn near the 1000 Metres, GLORIOUS EXPERT became unbalanced when racing tight to the inside of HAPPY FEELING and as a result lost ground.
He added, in his opinion, GLORIOUS EXPERT would be better suited by racing at Sha Tin.
Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race.
Horse No 8 COUNTRY DANCER (H436) B Avdulla Shortly after the start was bumped by E UNIVERSE and shifted out slightly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 10 HAPPY FEELING (H443) A Hamelin Bumped shortly after the start and from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 SUPER AXIOM (E105) H T Mo At declaration time, Apprentice E C W Wong had claimed 2 lbs overweight to ride SUPER AXIOM at 113 lbs.
When Apprentice Wong was unable to claim down to the advertised weight of 113 lbs, the Stewards permitted H T Mo to be substituted as the rider of SUPER AXIOM.
Apprentice Wong was fined a sum of $5,000.
Horse No 12 CHEER FOR SOUTH (H178) Y L Chung Bumped at the start.

Solar Partner quickened nicely through the centre of the track to win going away after settling one off the rail behind midfield. He relished a return to the level of two past wins over this course and distance, but will need to lift going forward on his Class Three form. Cheer For South ran on nicely from better than midfield for second. It was a better effort second up this term and he should be winning one soon. Super Eagle stayed on well for third after a prominent run. He continues to hold his condition well following a last-start win. Favourite Yoda's Choice gradually faded after tracking the speed on the fence. He was able to improve from one run to the next. Party Warrior ran on steadily to finish next best from behind midfield. E Universe ran on without threatening after making his run three from the rear. He should be able to find his mark shortly in the grade. Country Dancer peaked on his move 100m out after a patient ride two from the rear. He was given too much work to do from a wide draw. Ragnarr weakened after travelling wide without cover in midfield. He had an excuse.
