Recap by phillip woo

After a patient ride towards the rear of the field from a middle gate, well-backed Charity Bingo let down nicely towards the outside to just overhaul Red Majesty and notch a first win at his 10th local start. He relished a return to the Valley on his second run down in Class Four. Punted late, Red Majesty did everything right but could not get the win after dictating the pace by three lengths at the 200m. He's a winner waiting to happen at this level. Favourite Atomic Beauty got going late with two wider out for third without threatening the top two after a settling one off the rail behind midfield. He's holding his form well with third place finishes in his past three starts. To Infinity made late headway for fourth after a patient ride in the rear from gate 11. It was a better run after disappointing twice following a win. Cheong Fat got going late down the outside from last for fifth. It was another positive effort stepping up in distance after consecutive fourths over 1,200m. Not A Few came up one paced over the last 150m after getting all favours in the box seat. It was a better run following a downgrade.
