Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (372) - PO TIN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 AMAZING RUN (H401) J Kah Close to the winning post the whip of J Kah was knocked from her grasp by the whip of Apprentice E C W Wong, the rider of WAR OF COURAGE.
Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of J Kah, 6th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse's finishing position, she was nonetheless reminded of her obligation to ensure that she fully rides her mounts out to the finish of the race.
Horse No 2 I CAN (H381) Y L Chung Slow to begin.
Near the 150 Metres was steadied when crowded between CLUB SODA which shifted out slightly and PANDA LEGEND (K De Melo) which shifted in.
K De Melo was advised to exercise more care.
Horse No 4 WAR OF COURAGE (C483) E C W Wong From the 350 Metres to the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when endeavouring to improve to the inside of AMAZING RUN.
Horse No 5 CELTIC TIMES (G230) Z Purton After the 200 Metres raced in restricted room between CLUB SODA and AMAZING RUN.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 PERFETTO (G198) A Hamelin Crowded shortly after the start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 ME TIME (J074) B Avdulla Jumped awkwardly, resulting in its rider B Avdulla becoming unbalanced.
Horse No 9 CALIFORNIA ICON (H404) L Hewitson Bumped at the start.

Horse No 14 CLUB SODA (H312) A Atzeni Near the 200 Metres raced tight to the inside of SMART FIGHTER and as a result made contact with CELTIC TIMES for some distance thereafter.

Outsider Panda Legend gunned down late-fancied Smart Fighter 30m out after switching off heels for a clear run 300m out following a one-off trip from midfield for a first win at his fourth start. Well-backed Smart Fighter found one just too good after surging to the lead 150m out following a wide without cover trip in midfield from gate 11. He's a winner waiting to happen if he can draw a gate. Unwanted in betting, I Can weaved a run late to place at huge odds travelling four from the rear. It was clearly his best run to date following a downgrade. War Of Courage lost a placing late after getting all favours travelling box seat with the claim well utilised. Club Soda stayed on all right after finding a prominent spot one off the fence from gate 10. He's produced two positive runs following a gear change to pacifiers. Amazing Run ended next best after claiming the lead 300m out following a speed-tracking role 800m out from a tricky gate. Happy Daily ran on without threatening travelling two from the rear. Favourite Celtic Times couldn't feature after getting caught behind the tiring Amazing Run following a rails run from midfield.
