Race Three : (371) - ON TING HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 ACE VICTORY (H076) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 SECOND TO NONE (H319) J Kah Bumped on jumping.
Near the 800 Metres was steadied away from the heels of LOYAL BO BO after being crossed by that runner.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 PHOENIX LIGHT (G192) H Bowman Passing the 50 Metres was steadied when crowded between LUCKY QUALITY which shifted out slightly and SONIC BOOM which shifted in and away from LUCKY FIONN (A Hamelin) after being taken in by that runner.
A Hamelin was advised to exercise more care.
However, the Stewards were satisfied that he had endeavoured to straighten his mount soon after it commenced to shift in.
Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 FOREMOST TEDDY (J058) Y L Chung In the early stages raced keenly.
Horse No 6 LUCKY FIONN (J047) A Hamelin Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 8 WINNING GOLD (H461) K De Melo Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Horse No 10 LOYAL BO BO (J011) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 LUCKY QUALITY (D050) E C W Wong Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Ace Victory kept finding after slipping two lengths clear upon straightening to score a first win at his fourth local start. He appreciated the downgrade after waking up with a fourth last Sunday behind the talented Wunderbar. Loyal Bo Bo kept on nicely for second after chasing the winner on the fence. He's a winner waiting to happen from four progressive runs. Favourite Second To None ran on steadily for third after a rails run from midfield. It was another good effort following a last start win. Winning Heart ran on nicely to fill the frame from towards the rear. It was his best run from nine starts. Lucky Fionn finished well down the outside settling second last from gate 13. It's still early days but he has made a good impression in both starts and does appear to want a further trip. Sonic Boom made some ground without threatening after biding his time three from the rear. He can make a name for himself shortly in Class Five. Woodfire Champ produced a grinding effort after a rails run from behind midfield. Lucky Quality weakened to finish next best after a handy run wide without cover from gate 14.
