Horse No 3 KYEEMA (J055) L Ferraris Raced wide and without cover until near the 600 Metres.

Horse No 9 ACE VICTORY (H076) M L Yeung Passing the 400 Metres was shifted out from behind KA YING RISING and WUNDERBAR to obtain clear running.

As expected, it was a two-horse race between favourites Wunderbar and Ka Ying Rising with Wunderbar again getting the upper hand in the dying stages after a thrilling battle following a speed-tracking run. He's now won four of five starts. Favourite at the jump Ka Ying Rising wouldn't go down without a fight after jumping straight to the front from the widest draw. He's clearly one to follow up on. Ready To Win ran on steadily from midfield to just edge Ace Victory without threatening the top two. Ace Victory stayed on well after a handy run on the fence. It was his best effort from three local runs. Parterre ran on late from towards the rear to finish next best without threatening the top four. He's itching for a downgrade. Solar Partner just plodded after a one-off trip from midfield. Jumbo Fortune ran on without threatening after a rails run from behind midfield. He'll require a return to Class Four. Ima Single Man only got by beaten rivals from the rear of the field. It was another disappointing effort despite a downgrade. Kyeema tamely faded after getting posted deep without cover near the speed.
